LifeShelter®

A self-contained system that can be strategically pre-positioned in a mine. In case of an emergency, miners who can not escape can deploy the system in three minutes. Once inside, they operate the air processing system to maintain a breathable air supply for up to 96 hours.

Expectation Trainer

The Expectation Trainer is a fully functional unit which simulates the deployment and operation of an actual LifeShelter.

Borehole Blower

The Evapar model 3-A-1000 is a trailer-mounted, diesel-powered blower capable of producing 1450 cubic feet per minute of oil-free breathable air at 1.0 psi which would be sufficient to sustain 116 persons.

CO2 Curtains

Part of the MSHA required, harmful gas removal component. Four CO2 scrubbing curtains are sealed in an air-tight foil pouch until ready for use. Curtains are then installed on a special folding stand and placed at designated locations within the inflated tent.

15psi Barricade Door

For use in conjunction with an approved 15psi stopping. Adjustable to fit 8" - 16" - 24" - 32" thick stopping walls. Includes integral barricade interior pressure relief valve. Available in standard and low seam heights.

Tamper Proof Seals

Tamper evident, one-time use plastic. Serial numbered for convenient 50 piece bag inspection recording.
